Steve has some hard and fast wedding planning rules that he passes along to our clients. Number one is that there is no right or wrong in wedding planning, so release yourself from that fear and relax. The entire event hinges on your priorities. Once you’ve established what your priorities are, everything from the budget to the menu to the seating arrangement can fall into place.
Number two is that you’ve got to let yourself enjoy it. We’re entering into a really special relationship. Your event planner speaks to you when you’re making your first tentative calls about finding a caterer, we spend the evening and share a glass of wine with you at the tasting, we spend hours going over all the little details of your big day and, often, when we’re lucky, we’re the last one to see you both as you head down the aisle. No joke; that’s a pretty special moment and it’s the best part of our job. And we love it because most of us have done it. Our event planners are family people; married with young kids. There’s a family feel to our office and our kitchen which you’ll find is evident in our approach to your wedding. We’re loving it and we’ll do our best to remind you to as well.
